academic shoot reflection

1. one of the encounters was that it was hard taking photos of the rules.

2. the technical aspects i was thinking were the focus, framing, and the holding of the camera.

3. what i would do differently would be finding the balance and do better on the rules of thirds.

4. the only thing i would do the same is the framing of the picture but everything else i would do differently.

5. the rules that i think would be easiest would be Lines, Simplicity, and Framing.

6. I think the hardest rule might be balance.

7. The rules im not clear on would be balance and avoiding mergers.

Academic Shoot

                                  Lines
I think i follow the rule for lines kinda alright. The subject of this is two people going somewhere. I don't think it is clear at all to people looking at this photo. If I didn't follow the rule well, I would have took a good picture of lines that'll make it clear to people what the subject is of the photo.
                                Avoiding Mergers
I think i didn't follow the rule well for this photo. The subject is a guy studding for something. I think it's kinda clear to people looking at this photo to see the subject. I would have try avoiding the merges on this photo.

                     Rules of Thirds
I don't think the photo was good for the rules of thirds. This photo won't be clear to people who are looking at it for the subject. If I could have done it differently I would try to find the subject and a better example of the rules of thirds.
                                 framing
I think i follow the rule for framing alright. The subject of this picture is the tree and the bushes are the frame for the picture. I think it's kinda clear to the people looking at this photo what the subject is of this photo. If i didn't follow the rule well then i would try to take better pictures with framing in it.

                          simplicity
I think i follow the rule kinda well. The subject of this photo
is this person is on the phone texting. I think it's kinda clear to people
who are looking at this photo to see the subject.

post shoot reflection

1. trying to find people who look grumpy and finding things that look red and metal things.

2. the framing and the holding of the camera and trying to get focus on the camera. I try different ways to take the picture of grumpy, red, and metal.

3. I would try to put more focus.

4. The holding of the camera and the framing

5. i don't think i had any of the rules i just learn on the 3 photos but i learn to do the rules so next time a take photos.

6. yes, because taking the photos were interesting and fun and helped me learn more about the camera and so i can do the rules this time on the photos.

Exploring the camera

1. Camera obscura effect is that, focusing and projecting the light onto the wall of the dark room. It is achieved by the hole that acted like the lens.
2. the modern camera
3.glass lens, a dark box, and film.
4. What they have in common is light passes through the lens and into the camera which exposes the film and they both make a photogragh
5. With and electronic sensor called "CCD'.
6. Auto mode the camera will flash for you and take the pic.
On program mode you have to point and shoot the camera.
7. Portrait mode is used for blur out background. The camera will use the fastest available lens setting.
8. Sport mode is used for to freeze motion. The camera uses the highest shutter speed.
9. You should use half press on the trigger button because it has a faster camera response time, and has more control over focus, also encourages better composition.
10. This symbol means "disabled flash." This is used for taking the flash out so there wont be any flash when you take the shot.
11. The symbol means "auto-flash." This will automatically take the picture if the camera thinks it needs more light.
12.If too much light the photo will be washed out.
13.If there's not enough light the photo will be too dark.
14. "stop" is used in every aspect of photography to represent a relative change in the brightness of light.
15.1 stop brighters
16. 2 stop brighters
17.The longer shutter speed has more light.
18.The shorter shutter speed has less light.
19.The aperture control the brightness that is reduced as the light passes through.
20.You increase the amount of light by using the "F-stops"
